The Gallery by the Sea

Colour is important to me and the vibrant colour associated with encaustic painting has led to an obsession with hot wax and strong pigments. This ancient medium now feels new, vibrant and full of potential. 
Each landscape painting I produce, is a view of a time and a place experienced, marvelled at and remembered. They serve to connect me to this once unfamiliar terrain and its magical light.
